You will act as an internal Subject Matter Expert, intelligent client and quality assurer in relation to the delivery of the 3 Waters programme, which is a risk-based programme of work, designed to improve the condition and compliance of Corrections' 3 Waters infrastructure.
You have an expert understanding of the technical and compliance aspects of 3 Waters infrastructure, including relevant legislation and regulations.
Your experience in asset management planning enables you to apply financial and engineering-based asset lifecycle analysis in a 3 Waters context.
Collaborative by nature, you provide effective technical support across supplier negotiations, legislative reviews, and cross-functional teams.
You share Corrections' values and are motivated to improve outcomes for people in prison while working with diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Demonstrated technical experience in 3 Waters engineering, involving a complex 3 Waters asset portfolio.Detailed understanding of the technical and compliance aspects of 3 Waters infrastructure, plus a detailed understanding of relevant legislation and regulations e.g.
Drinking Water Standards, Water Services Act.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of stakeholders.Tertiary Degree in a relevant discipline e.g.
Engineering.Membership of an engineering professional body is desirable (e.g.
Engineering NZ).The mid-point of the salary range is $147,765 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $125,601 - $177,318 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
