Senior Team Leader Vet – Companion Animals

The newly created role of Senior Team Leader Vet – Companion Animals provides a unique opportunity for an experienced, passionate vet professional to extend their career with future equity prospects within the business while enjoying the unique lifestyle that Taranaki has to offer. Reporting to the Managing Director, day to day you will manage routine companion animal consultations and surgeries, participate in clinical duties onsite or on call/afterhours roster and provide advice and service to clients. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will develop strong working relationships across the broader practice and while continuing to identify and develop new opportunities to enhance the services for growth. 
To be considered for this role you will have proven experience in companion animal care and strong diagnostic and surgical skills. You will demonstrate excellent communication and client interaction capability and be able to lead and mentor a veterinary team. Naturally you will have a commitment to ongoing learning and development and be proficient in veterinary technology and equipment.
