They are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Team Lead Mechanical Engineer  specializing in the thermal design to join their high-performing team based in Christchurch.

This role is as much about team leadership as it is about being the specialist in Thermal design and simulation / testing, so you will have to be at home in both areas.

This role needs to be based in Christchurch, working closely with the local and international engineers.

What you bring to the role:    Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Sound experience in thermal design and analysis
Team leadership, experience managing a team of people
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience with CAD and thermal simulation software
What would make you stand out? Experience in power electronics design
Experience using multiple CAD and thermal simulation tools, including SolidWorks 3D CAD and SolidWorks Simulation
Experience verifying simulations with real-life testing
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Experience communicating analysis studies and results to a wider audience
