The combined business produces over 170,000mt of finished goods which are then exported to over 40 countries, driving annual revenue well in excess of $1.3B - and growing.The Opportunity:After a new ERP implementation (Oracle) and other system upgrades and enhancements we have a key requirement for a Senior Systems Integration Developer to join us and provide support for a wide range of YOBD system interfaces including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, warehouse/logistics management, finance, sales and quality management systems across our group.Based in Christchurch and reporting to our ERP Programme Manager this role is responsible for providing technical support, conducting investigations, and analysing business operations, focusing on systems, system integration, business functions, and processes. It also involves daily monitoring and reconciliation of over 40 YOBD interfaces to ensure the success of both the business and its systems. The Senior System Integration Developer will also provide technical support for complex enterprise projects and be involved in training and mentoring less experienced developers/engineers, following best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing and documentation.More specifically this role will:Provide technical support for more than 40 Westland system interfaces including Oracle EBS/Manhattan SCALE/MultiPickResolve interface issues on a daily basis, recoding system interfaces if needed to improve performance as required by the businessOptimize the performance of Oracle EBS applications by tuning SQL queries and improving system configurations.Create and maintain technical documentation for all customisations and developments.Work closely with business analysts and system integration engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Design and develop new interfaces as requiredCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical issues.Our Successful Applicant Will Ideally Possess:Proven system integration solution design, development and maintenance experience gained in a complex software environmentA Bachelor's degree or equivalent level in information technology or software engineeringSubstantial experience of implementing ERP systems/warehouse management systems/modules/interfaces - proficiency in Oracle EBS/Manhattan SCALE/MultiPick is essential.Strong problem solving and analytical skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to a wide range of audiencesProven ability of driving and delivering mega/medium ERP projects with multiple interfaces within scope, timeline and budgetProficiency in integrating Oracle EBS with other systems using APIs, Web Services, and other integration tools.Experience in workflow design and coding and the ability to provide training and mentoring to other junior ERP team membersPrevious knowledge/experience of supply chain/manufacturing/finance within a dairy company would be advantageousWhat's in it for you?Company incentive schemeHealth insuranceLife insuranceFree parkingEmployee assistance & wellbeing programsEnhanced parental leave provisions+ Delicious discounted grass-fed butter!!!This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a large and complex organisation as its group companies continue to evolve and synergise.
