ABOUT THE ROLE This full-time position requires a technical expert to manage and support server and storage infrastructure for enterprise customers, both on-premise and in the cloud. Key responsibilities include implementing and supporting Microsoft operating systems (Server and Desktop) and cloud services, providing hardware support for data center equipment (Cisco, HP, Dell, NetApp), troubleshooting technical issues, implementing new systems and technologies, monitoring infrastructure performance, updating documentation, ensuring adequate system capacity, and accurately logging activities. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Certifications and Qualifications: Possess at least one major industry certification (e.g., MSP, MCSE, CNE, VCP, CCEA, Cisco) or equivalent qualification, along with one or more vendor-specific certifications. Project Experience: Have a proven track record of technical involvement in large or medium-scale projects. Microsoft Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in implementing and supporting Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems, applications, and cloud services. Technical Understanding: Possess a solid understanding of the interconnectedness between desktop, server, and network hardware, and be able to effectively function in distributed environments. Technology Proficiency: Be proficient in the following areas: Core Microsoft technologies (AD, Printing, DHCP, DNS) Cloud technologies (Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure, AWS) Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS) Data protection, backup, and recovery (Veeam, Commvault, Shadow Protect, ASR, etc.) Microsoft application knowledge (Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Teams) Platform monitoring and management (SCCM, SCOM) Windows deployment and patching PowerShell scripting and process automation Client Engagement: Demonstrate confidence in engaging with clients and effectively communicating the benefits of recommended solutions.
