Opportunity to take the lead on a key Christchurch project that the current Manager is leading & with the work to continue for the next 5 + years. The Company & The Role: A specialised Project Management, Project Planning consultancy that specialise in Land Development, Infrastructure and Construction projects. We are on the lookout for an experienced Surveyor to join their Christchurch office, either as a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, or a Surveyor with minimum 4 years + experience. With 2 offices NZ based across Auckland and Christchurch – they are in a significant growth phase and are looking to add to their already strong Surveying team of 10. Working on a wide range of projects involving cadastral, topographical, construction surveying across subdivisions, irrigation, commercial infrastructure, and civil structures. This is an opportunity to take over the management of a key major project that the current Manager is leading - with the work to continue for the next 5 + years. Applicants must have the following qualities: Enthusiasm and the ability to run and mentor graduate-intermediates Being able to liaise with clients and contractors on site Excellent verbal and written communication skills A relevant tertiary diploma/degree in Surveying Understanding of GPS, robotic total station, Landonline and survey software Exposure to 12D would be beneficial to hit the ground running They are very innovative with their approach and always looking at new ways of working for speed and efficiency while still delivering quality. This is a role that could lead you down a path of Project Management long term if you are this way inclined, or alternatively into an official Team Leadership role.
