Senior Surgical Physiotherapist

We want you to work in our inpatient team at North Shore Hospital! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced physiotherapist to jointly lead our highly skilled and dedicated acute surgical team working at North Shore Hospital.
Come and join the region leading the way in digital innovation with electronic patient notes, e-prescribing and e-vitals.
You will be working as part of a physiotherapy team providing quality assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning through a patient centred approach with strong links with our community and outpatient services.
This work includes provision of pre-op education for patients awaiting breast and upper abdominal surgery through our pre-op clinics.
Key requirements of this role: Current New Zealand registered physiotherapist5+ years of relevant and recent inpatient acute surgical experienceEffective leadership skills and experience, demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration with other seniors.Strong role modelAdvanced interpersonal and written communication skillsExcellent acute clinical assessment and treatment skills within the surgical areaGreat organisational skills, time management and flexibility to be able to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environmentWithin this role you will receive support for your Professional and Clinical Leadership development. This includes:

Salary range: $114,000 - $119,000 (DA3-DB3)
