The Alliance team is made up of talented and values-driven people who are passionate about making a difference to the New Zealand agricultural sector.Our Nelson Plant currently has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Supervisor to join the team on night shift.Working with the Department Supervisors, your role involves:Connecting and working with people (directing as necessary), using the company's valuesConsistent monitoring of compliance, health & safety across the plantEnsuring the compliance and wellbeing of livestock and promoting great animal welfare practicesSolid knowledge of the meat processing at many levels (Further Processing, Primary Processing, Yards, and Salt Shed)Able to understand key regulatory compliance including HACCP/ZFT etc., as well as other internal processing requirements across the plantKey contact for external and internal stakeholders including MPI, Assure Quality, and Union DelegatesEnsuring compliance and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered toContinuously improving standards and identifying areas for further development/improvementSupporting our supervisory team on the plant, including the ability to complete drug & alcohol testing, key HR, and/or employment processesNga painga - what's in it for you?We are an employer that is committed to making a difference for families and communities and supporting people to build rewarding careers.
