We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced aquatics professional who is looking to make a bigger impact by stepping into a leadership role as a Senior Supervisor Aquatics based at Te Pou Toetoe.

In this role, you will:
Support the Aquatics Team Leader through leading a team of lifeguards and ensuring standards such as operating procedures, Poolsafe, water quality, pool supervision, cleanliness, and customer service are met.
You will also lead the delivery of Waltham Summer pool and be partly based there during the summer months.
You'll value building relationships and will be able to easily build a rapport with your team, community, and your leader who will rely on you for support.
As the most important aspect of this job is leading people, we are looking for someone with serious potential to inspire, motivate, and develop staff, empowering them to always achieve greatness for our customers.

To be successful in this position you will:
Have a minimum of 3 years' practical experience in an aquatics or pool environment, including 12 months of leadership experience.
Hold a current Comprehensive First Aid Certificate (level 2) & current Pool Lifeguard Skills Award.
Demonstrate the ability to take the lead and look for ways to make things better.
Excellent attention to detail is important, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Have strong communication skills and be solution-focused.

Salary: From $71,529 to $79,477 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
Hours: Full-time, permanent.
Locations & Days of work: Sunday - Thursday, based at Te Pou Toetoe + Waltham Summer Pool.
