They take pride in their collaborative culture and have a value-driven approach to their clients.They are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineering to Team Leader level Engineer to join the Christchurch office. As the Senior Structural Engineer / Lead you will play a pivotal role in overseeing their small but very talented engineering team, driving project success, and contributing to their continued growth.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of structural engineers and technicians, setting clear goals and providing mentorship and guidance.Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Collaborate closely with architects, builders, and clients to provide innovative and cost-effective structural solutions.Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, including commercial and industrial buildings, high-end houses, and retaining structures.Conduct site inspections and assessments as needed.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate them into the team's workflow.Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth within the department.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered NZ Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards it.Minimum of 8 plus years of structural engineering experience, including experience with new builds and architectural projects.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.What We Offer:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
