This is a brilliant company to work for with a really great culture, they have multiple offices and a really wide range of projects.The RoleYour role as Senior Structural Engineer will be to undertake the scoping, design, construction observation and management of structural engineering projects including residential, commercial, seismic buildings around 3-4 storeys.You will manage the design, analysis and construction of structural engineering projects.Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve successful project outcomes (time, cost and quality).Responsible for the project lifecycle, you will scope, organise and monitor progress, seeing them through to their successful completion, actively looking for innovation and improvement opportunities.Create high quality project plans, obtain stakeholder input, procure design and construction resources and undertake comprehensive and timely reporting to management and clients.Lead, direct and mentor the work of the Structural Engineering project team.Liaise with clients, staff, contractors and sub consultants on projects to ensure these are delivered on time to budget and meet quality standards.Manage the client's expectations through regular reporting and feedback to clients and internal managers on progress, costs, risks and expected completion dates of tasks.About YouYou MUST have at least 7+ years structural engineering experience in New Zealand (seismic experience).CPEng preferable but not required – at least well underway to gaining CPEng.High level of attention to detail.Strong people management and relationship building skills.Requires a related qualification and familiarity with structural software (ETABS).Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on relevant experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.Can assist with business development of new and existing clients to develop and maintain relationships.To ApplyTo apply for this role or to have a confidential chat contact Jordan Manfield of Remedy Resourcing at 0275613200 or ******.
