The Role:
They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who is either chartered or on their way to being chartered for hands-on work to design, review and sign off (chartered) a range of residential and commercial projects.
Provide cost effective and accurate outcomes that meet client expectations
Communicate well with a range of people (colleagues, clients, landowners, councils, public)
Exercise professional judgement, critical thinking and decision making
Handle tasks with minimum supervision
Understand instructions and turn them into positive results
Gain additional skills and add value to self and the role within the company
Manage major/complex projects in defined specialisation
Manage multiple projects or contracts within time and budget
Contribute to a diverse team of employees to achieve desired outcomes
Develop and maintain business relationships with customers
Understanding of broader business issues and other disciplines beyond core discipline(s)
About You:
Maybe you are in a role with a good company, but you want a career with a great company!? You will have:
Chartered Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' structural engineering experience, including NZ seismic design
Ability to carry out hands-on work to design, review and sign off (chartered) a range of residential and commercial projects
A great attitude and sense of humour!
The Benefits:
Negotiable base salary $120,000 - $150,000
