Role Overview: They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to take on a leadership role within their team.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of a diverse range of new build projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, as well as retaining structures.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring high standards of design, accuracy, and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Design Excellence: Develop innovative and practical design solutions for a variety of building types and structures.
Ensure designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and meet client requirements.
Team Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop their technical skills and advance their careers.
Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations.
Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is essential.
Experience: Extensive experience in structural engineering with a proven track record in leading projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Skills: Strong technical proficiency in structural design, project management, and client communication.
Experience with modelling design software and tools.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
