Leading multidisciplinary consultancy, seeking a 5-8 plus year Structural Engineer to work on quality commercial projects as they continue to grow.
The Company: An multidisciplinary consulting firm that provides a range of services in Engineering. Successfully branched out into Structural Engineering in New Zealand, they have an established team of 10 Structural Engineers, and a BIM Lead are looking to grow this further. Work on a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, data centres, community facilities, and some larger residential developments.
The Role: As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and assessment of various building structures at a larger scale. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from concept to construction, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, including architects, contractors and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure that designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
At least 5-8 years' plus experience in a role here in NZ
Strong technical skills and a good understanding of relevant codes and standards
Proficient in structural analysis software & excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for structural engineering and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems
