It's an exciting time to grow with the organisation.The RoleReporting to the Head of Department, you will be a Structural Engineer working closely with Ergo's transmission and distribution partners. This will involve engaging with key clients, utilising your proven Civil Structural experience to scope developments and understand the project's challenges before partnering with the power team and internal CAD Designers to curate the most effective & efficient solutions.This will see you primarily overseeing and working on Ergo's clients HV Substation facilities and their related infrastructure across New Zealand. On a day-to-day basis, you will undertake building analysis and project delivery skills for the documentation of a raft of facilities. This presents a unique opportunity to partner with market leaders in New Zealand's growing energy sector with your strong Civil background.About YouComing from a Structural background, you may be somebody currently working in the energy or industrial sector, bringing technical expertise and passion for the growing sector. Bringing extensive experience working across a range of building analysis and structural design, you will be well versed with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar design software. Utilising your ability to document and openly discuss your technical solutions with clients is essential for the role.This may see you coming from another structural role with an energy background seeking the opportunity to join a tightknit specialist consultancy whilst taking project ownership. Alternatively, you could bring strong experience creating structural designs in industrial developments for concrete structures.
