We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a strategic thinker to contribute to how Auckland will grow and change over the next 30 years.
Lead strategic work that draws on the opportunities and tackles the complexities of accommodating Auckland's growth - from responding to climate change and equity challenges, to ensuring that there is enough land for employment and housing across Auckland.
Work alongside our infrastructure and transport strategy teams to achieve integrated solutions that make the most of opportunities presented by Auckland's growth.

You have demonstrated experience in strategic urban planning including developing regional growth and spatial strategies. The ability to think strategically, across disciplines and long-term, is essential for this role. You understand the diverse challenges facing Auckland and you have experience in providing sound strategic advice to decision makers on issues where there is considerable uncertainty.
