The Strategy and Performance team at the Council has a key role in working across the organisation to deliver on the Council's ambition for our District.
The team have a number of key responsibilities, including, but not limited to producing corporate plans and reports to inform stakeholders and meet legislative requirements such as leading the development of Long Term Plan, Annual plan and Annual report.
In addition, this role will undertake key research to lead or support the review of Council's Policies and Bylaws work programme, and support other research needs as required.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Relevant tertiary degreePreferably corporate planning or reporting experienceStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to deliver actionable insights.Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities to build a high-performing team.A solution-focused mindset, a high level of attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.If you are a recent graduate and new to strategy, we encourage you to apply, as we are committed to supporting applicants with limited experience.
