This position is fulltime and permanent, the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan site in Palmerston North. This role is Monday - Friday 10.30am - 7pm with opportunities for overtime. We require you to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as this role requires close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. Minimum Requirements: Forklift licence Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job Good attention to detail Ability to work overtime if required Team player Good sense of humour Minimum full class 1 drivers licence Intermediate level of skill with technology Reliable Excellent understanding and adherence to health & safety procedures Experience leading a team Experience with an overhead gantry crane would be preferable We are committed to health and safety in our organisation.
