You'll be working with a fun and supportive team, who together play a key role in the planning and delivery of road maintenance and construction activities across Auckland and Northland.As the Senior Stakeholder and Communications Advisor, you'll lead the design and implementation of stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, to help minimise disruption to customers, to achieve a positive customer experience during road maintenance and construction activities.This role will involve face-to-face contact within the community, dealing with enquiries from the public, communicating with businesses, ratepayers and residents, preparing and delivering communication material (e.g. works notification letters), preparing awards submissions and providing expertise for potential bids, when necessary.This is a Full-Time, Permanent opportunity based from our Penrose, Auckland office.Nga pukenga matua | Important SkillsYou'll need to be a confident people-person, comfortable working with a diverse range of people (site staff/crews, engineers, subcontractors, clients and members of the public). Naturally you'll be unflappable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.You'll need to have strong project management skills, and can reliably prioritise what needs to get done, when multiple projects are on the go.
