We're seeking a dynamic senior specialist in insurance risk appetite to drive the review and monitoring of appetite statements, metrics, and risk indicators for insurance risks. You'll be instrumental in creating the innovative insurance risk dashboard and conducting scenario analysis to ensure robust risk management.Your role will involve reviewing and monitoring the group and divisional risk appetite statements (RAS) and key risk indicators, developing and implementing the insurance risk dashboard, and performing scenario testing. You'll also provide expert guidance and build strong relationships with business divisions and insurance risk managers. Join us and be a key player in securing a prosperous future for IAG!This is a permanent full-time role open to our offices in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland), New Zealand.Applications close Tuesday 19 November 2024 at 11:59pm.To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria:Strong experience in general insurance (both commercial and personal lines) and actuarial/analytics functions.Proven expertise in developing and managing risk appetite, metric setting, and scenario testing.Relevant tertiary degree, ANZIIF qualification, or equivalent industry experience.In-depth understanding of profitability and financial drivers within the insurance sector.Outstanding interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, including report writing.Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.IAG is the largest general insurance group in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.
