Your new role
As a forward-thinking and trusted advisor, you'll steer clients toward optimal cloud architecture solutions across diverse projects. As a pivotal member of the multi-domain architecture team, you'll engage in cloud and hybrid initiatives, primarily centred around Microsoft Azure, with future expansion to include AWS. Your fresh ideas and holistic perspective will shape solutions that transcend traditional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities Developing functional design specifications and Azure reference architectures, ensuring security and scalability are prioritised.
Serve as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding customer requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
Lead the creation of inventive solutions and tackle complex cloud challenges head-on.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.
Guide and mentor fellow architects and engineering staff, fostering continuous learning and growth.
What you'll need to succeed Proficiently designed and deployed cloud solutions, with a focus on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Outstanding customer interaction skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective decision-making abilities.
Hands-on expertise, grounded in practical application and informed by theoretical best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to identify trends and share insights with the broader team.
Non-essential Experience in IoT architecture.
Exposure to Cloud Data Platform architecture.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and associated tools.
Background in cybersecurity.
Holding relevant Microsoft certifications.
Familiarity with non-Microsoft cloud platforms and frameworks.
