Senior Solicitor / Senior Associate - Tax

Our Wellington Tax team continues to be in high demand, so we are looking to grow the team with an experienced Tax specialist. We are ideally looking for someone at Senior Solicitor/Senior Associate level but are open to considering quality candidates at all levels.

About the role Top-tier corporate clients Breadth of work and opportunity Advising on all aspects of tax law, including income tax, GST and international tax Accelerated exposure to work and clients from day one in a small supportive team environment Collaboration with national team and other practice areas The role is part of a highly successful national Tax team and works closely with highly respected Tax Partner, Vivian Cheng, in Wellington. The work will involve advice on NZ and cross-border commercial transactions, review and negotiation of transaction documentation, obtaining IRD binding rulings, tax disputes and tax policy submissions.

This is a diverse and rewarding role and will suit a strong technical skill set and someone who enjoys collaboration, is solution oriented, and thrives on getting to the bottom of things.
