We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our TSB Technology Team.You will be responsible for creating, developing, and providing support for our business applications, as well as integrating them with our internal systems and solutions from external partners. Collaborate with an agile, diverse team to continuously enhance our software applications and APIs, making sure they are reliable, scalable, secure, and support our business's success. You will also promote and lead our DevOps culture, emphasizing the shared responsibility between development and operations. Championing the integration of quality into our development process through automation and play a role in the management and oversight of systems and platforms, ensuring that issues are addressed and services are delivered within their agreed service level agreements (SLAs).In this role, you can expect to:Lead, design, develop, and implement software applications, APIs, and services in accordance with architectural and development standards and best practices.Support the ongoing enhancement of our current portfolio of platforms, applications, services, and APIs.Contribute to the planning, definition, and sequencing of project timelines, focusing on delivering business value, including technical delivery and design considerations.Uphold standards for security, performance, and data integrity across the team, staying informed about current security issues, application and API security standards, and resolving security issues before services are deployed.Oversee and manage applications, environments, and services related to mobile applications and platforms to ensure they meet their agreed SLAs.Address system incidents and issues to ensure they meet their agreed SLAs.We are looking for candidates who have:8+ years' experience as a Software Engineer, developing applications or services in Java and/or .NetAPI Management (Design, Publish, Gateway, Discovery, Security and Analytics)Working within an agile software development frameworkOperating with modern DevOps practicesOperational Support in 24x7 technology service environment experienceSupporting web services in highly available environmentsWorking with cloud-based environments (such as Azure or AWS)What's in it for me?At TSB, we're small enough to really care about our customers but big enough to have great rates, innovative products, and digital solutions.
