About the role As a senior member of the development team, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices. We are seeking someone who enjoys making a difference, being challenged, has a high degree of initiative, an ability to learn quickly, and to operate in a complex environment. The Senior Software Engineer leads, coaches, and mentors other junior Software Engineers, and contributes to the evolution of the software engineering disciplines; development, application architecture, operations, automation, testing, and DevOps. Responsibilities Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, utilizing version control systems and collaboration tools for efficient team development. Use accepted theory and practices to develop and deploy continuous improvement actions to ensure implementation of continuous improvement of software engineering strategies. Liaise with stakeholders to create solutions that solve business problems and improve customer experience. Assist in automation, deployment, and monitoring activities. Work with the tech leads to deliver features for the product and engineering roadmap and ensure projects are delivered on time, and to best practice & quality guidelines. What you need? Minimum of 4 years experience working in a commercial software development environment. Demonstrable experience in working with JavaScript, .Net, C#, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, and test-driven environment. CI/CD - Continuous Delivery (GitHub Actions, Octopus, Jenkins or similar). An ability to write and improve on existing suite of unit and integration tests. Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud, IAAS, PAAS, Micro Services, and Kubernetes. What's in it for you?
