We Go Beyond for A Safer World Te Turanga - The Role Join Tait working as a Senior Software Engineer in one of our Software Engineering Teams and experience the full lifecycle of some of our key software products. You will be working in a small but inclusive cross functional, development team and be immersed in complex and challenging projects with great opportunities for personal and professional development. The duties of the role will include: Working on all aspects of the software product lifecycle including requirements capture, analysis and modelling, design specification and implementation, and test specification and execution. Investigation and evaluation of design processes, tools, equipment and third-party components.Leadership of the design effort by demonstration of innovation and depth of knowledge across a broad range of engineering activities within the software discipline.Support of team by assisting other engineers in their work, as shown by the others improving in their performance of skills already held, or by the others acquiring new skills, or by the increased rate of acquisition of new skills by the other engineers in the team. O pukenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will be a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering quality products. As well as: A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A keen interest in technology and experience developing software in a collaborative team environment. Experience of complex software design principles and patterns. Experience in C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core.Proficiency in ASP.NET or ASP.NET CoreFamiliarity with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL ServerWeb front end experience using technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and TypeScript.User experience (UX) design would be a bonus.Nga painga - what's in it for you?
