This role involves transitioning existing technology to modern frameworks and cloud solutions. The project will focus on improving usability and adding new features. The successful candidates will work closely with the development team to implement continuous integration and deployment processes, set up cloud pipelines, and develop user-facing and backend applications.Role ResponsibilitiesUndertake projects or activities as required by the business.Write maintainable and well-structured code, following best practices and coding standards.Develop unit and integration tests as appropriate.Assist with incident management, support, testing, and application deployment.Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure requirements are met.Write technical documentation for systems developed or worked on, as required.Participate in Agile ceremonies.Engage in self-development to learn new skills and improve knowledge within the technology environment.Requirements7+ years of experience as a software developer.Proven experience in web development using modern frameworks (e.g. NodeJS, VueJS).Experience designing, building, and deploying microservices in cloud environments (e.g. AWS).Extensive Java knowledge.Strong skills in database design and development using SQL.Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.If you are interested please email at ****** or call +64 4 978 1057 to talk more about the opportunity.
