Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
You will play a key role in our newly established Integration Platform team. Working in a cross-functional Agile squad, you and the team will focus on establishing the foundations and best practices for our integration frameworks and standards. You'll be working with some of the best Integration products in the market to change how Waka Kotahi integrates its systems and simplifies its digital landscape.
As integration is such a core component of our digital landscape, you will find yourself working with many others, both within the organisation and our strategic partners, to establish and mature our integration capabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Significant experience creating pipelines in a CI/CD platform (e.g. GitHub, ADO)
Significant experience in writing automated integration tests
Significant experience working in an agile environment
Significant experience in a programming language (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python)
Significant experience working with Terraform
Significant experience in working with SLO's SLI and SLA's
Significant experience in working with at least one of the major cloud providers, Azure preferred
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
