As a key advocate for our Software Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, championing innovative infrastructure and process solutions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Innovate and refine automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment, configuration management, and monitoring tasks.Seamlessly integrate new tools and services into existing systems, enhancing overall functionality.Implement robust configuration management practices to ensure the accurate identification and control of system configurations.Monitor systems and networks for security breaches and respond promptly to incidents.Optimize deployment pipelines for efficiency and security within continuous integration/continuous deployment frameworks.Collaborate closely with security teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with standards.To be successful in this role, you should have:Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering, infrastructure or a related field.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.In-depth understanding of cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Proficient in implementing security measures across cloud-based platforms and services.Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.Experience in leading technical meetings and facilitating discussions.Location and Additional InformationWork from the local office 3 or more days per week – Seequent calls this Work Mode= Office-based.Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and InclusionAt Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
