Senior Site Manager

They require a Senior Site Manager to cover a variety of projects across New Zealand's North Island.They need a hands-on construction site manager with a commercial/industrial or even civil structures background who gets involved and leads from the front. The projects are new build/refurb schemes across the North Island, so you must be comfortable with some travel, but also means you can be based in any of the main cities. The company will look after you with good allowances in place.To be considered, you must have a solid career history, ideally established within a main contractor's environment. Ideally, you will have New Zealand experience; however, they would consider overseas applicants with some local NZ experience.You should have a minimum of 6 - 8 years' experience and have worked on a number of other commercial/industrial building projects. You need to be able to take projects through the life cycle of the scheme and keep to program.Your experience as a site manager will be second to none. This position requires your man management and construction knowledge to ensure these projects are a success for you and the company.You must be able to understand the running of the site, the coordination of the staff/subs, hold the ability to motivate, and have a solid understanding of the construction drawings, along with financial management awareness.
