Senior School English Teacher - Special Character Position We seek a highly skilled, positive and motivated teacher, passionate about teaching and learning in a Christian School. This position is in our English department and particularly includes opportunities to show leadership in our middle and senior years English curriculum. It would suit a specialist who enjoys working with students from Y9-13.
Our school is an integrated Christian Area School situated in the heart of Blenheim. We provide Marlborough families with high-quality Christian education for students in Y1–13. Our school is a member of the Piritahi Kahui Ako Community of Learning and is committed to developing culturally & relationally responsive pedagogies. A commitment to the school's ongoing development of inquiry and embedding of relational practice is important.
Applicants must be experienced with the New Zealand Curriculum. Our teachers are expected to be a full part of a dedicated team involved in the teaching of our curriculum, which emphasizes biblical principles in all aspects. Applicants' willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to this school will be a condition of appointment.
