Job Description: As a Senior Sales Manager (Logistics) the primary responsibility is selling into transportation& logistics vertical. This position will report to the Sales Director for North America. The candidate understands own product portfolio extremely well and knows how to win relative to competition, will maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers, while being responsible for achieving sales quotas and meeting assigned strategic account objectives. Proven strategic thinker that makes go-to-market strategy and operating practice changes that get results. Considered an industry expert by employees, peers, customers. Acts as a resource to business unit general management; responsible for developing a portion of the business unit annual and long-term plans. May manage other sales managers in some cases. Proven success in sales management. The candidate will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned territory and lead the customer account planning cycle ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. Responsibilities: ? 1.Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. 2.Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with end users and work collaboratively with the Partner Connect channel. ? 3.Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including marketing, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations. ? 4.Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and territory. ? 5.Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. ? 6.Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. ? 7.Achieve assigned sales quota in designated territory. ? 8.Meet assigned expectations for profitability. ? Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: ? 1.BS degree or equivalent practical experience. ? 2.Background in sales, complex sales and consultative selling. ? 3.Knowledge of IT, Technology, AIDC, Barcodes, RFID and others. ? 4.Experience in project sales. ? 5.Experience in direct and indirect sales. ? 6.8 + years of B2B end-user sales experience ? 7.Availability to travel through North America and Canada. ? 8.Availability to travel up to 50% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: ? 1.Direct success selling into the transportation& logistics vertical strongly preferred ? 2.Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate with and grow C-level relationships with customers and internal leadership/business units ? 3.Must be customer-oriented, able to influence customers at all levels and a strong teammate with a partnering mindset ? 4.Proven success with effectively building, leading and supporting teams with closing complex sales deals ? 5.Must be comfortable with change and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Benefits: ?Job Location: Remote/ United States ?Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: ?Dental insurance ? ?Health insurance ?Paid time off Schedule: ?Monday to Friday ?Weekend availability ?Supplemental Pay: Bonus pays ?License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Skills: B to B Sales, Bulk Sales, Business Purchases & Sales, Channel Sales, Channel Sales Development, Commercial Sales, Complex Sales, Conceptual Sales, Corporate Sales Management, Direct Sales, End to End Sales, Enterprise Sales, Face to Face Sales
