About the roleYou will join a close-knit team of planners in a district that provides an opportunity to develop your planning skills in unique and challenging areas, including heritage, outstanding natural features and landscapes, new growth areas, coastal development, and various natural hazards.
As a Senior Planner, this role undertakes the assessment of complex resource consent applications and related management of environmental planning.
You will provide mentoring to colleagues and support to the Development Planning Team Leader, while also preparing reports and recommendations for Council committees and providing advice to support Council's strategic, regulatory, and operational functions.
