Senior Relationship Manager -Commercial Banking

Our client is currently in the process of recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager, property finance for their commercial banking team. With average deals sizes of between $2m - $30m the focus is to identify the financial needs of their clients and provide appropriate solutions.

The role:
Provide expert advice on banking products and services. Analyse clients financial statements, cashflow projections and business plans to assess the credit and finance options. Structure and negotiate credit facilities, including loans and lines of credit. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders such as credit risk, legal and operations to ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients. Monitor the performance of the client accounts. Identify cross selling opportunities and promote banking products and services to both current and new clients. Attend networking events and conferences to enhance market presence. Maintain and develop new business development opportunities.
The Person:
Solid experience in commercial banking or corporate finance with a focus on relationship management and business development. Strong credit skills and financial products and services knowledge including commercial loans, treasury management and trade finance. Must be able to evaluate complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients. Tertiary qualification in finance or business administration Enjoy operating in a results orientated sales environment. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
