Salary range $72,709 - $80,788, actual salary dependent on skills and experience

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor – Fire Control is accountable for leading a cohesive group of Regulatory Compliance Specialists, who are primarily responsible to discharge the legislative requirements of Fire and Emergency New Zealand in respect of:
Managing the administration of Fire Permit applications in accordance with The Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017, and the Fire and Emergency NZ (Fire Permits) Regulations 2017.
Managing the administration of Fire Hazard Removals in accordance with Sections 65 to 68 of the Fire and Emergency Act 2017
The processing of Fire Evacuation Schemes in relevant buildings in accordance with the Fire and Emergency NZ Act 2017 and the Fire and Emergency NZ (Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures and Evacuation Schemes) regulations 2018.

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor – Fire Control will oversee the day to day operations in all matters relating to;
FAIP Referrals
Emergency Plans
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
High level attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer focus and problem-solving ability
Ability to read maps and a good knowledge of New Zealand geography.
At least 3-5 years' experience in a broad-based senior administration role or a recent graduate/undergraduate in a related discipline.
