Senior Registry Officer Auckland Description This is an exciting role to service and manage the day-to-day running of the Registry on behalf of our clients.
Job Specification Accurately process unitholder transactions in accordance with agreed client service standards – applications, redemptions, switches, transfers, and distributions.Assist with setup and maintenance of client static data to ensure data is accurate and up to date.Assist with meeting APEX INVESTMENT ADMINISTRATION (NZ) LIMITED's AML/CFT obligations.Prepare bank and other unit registry reconciliations for funds in a timely manner.Assist the Registry Services team in ensuring that all service delivery standards set for the unit registry division are met.Reconciling and filing the monthly IRD returns.Maintenance of standing instructions schedule and processing and payment.Ensure that unit registry hard copy and electronic files are kept up to date.Assisting with client and unitholder queries.Undertake other Investment Operations administration duties as reasonably required.Maintain and update processes and procedure documents for the APEX INVESTMENT ADMINISTRATION (NZ) LIMITED registry division.Assist Team Leader to ensure all registry reconciliations are performed and all exceptions are cleared in a timely manner.Assist IT with system development and testing as required.Assist Team Leader in second reviews of daily processing, client setup, and static data changes.Assist Team Leader in preparation of year-end attributions and processing thereof.Assist Team Leader in the training of registry staff.Skills Required: Attention to detail is crucial in this role.Ability to use initiative.Proven ability to understand and follow a process.Good email and phone manner.Working knowledge of the PIE Tax regime would be useful.Working knowledge of Registry would be useful.Competent in the operation of MS Word and Excel.The ability to perform effectively under pressure.Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the nature and cause of problems and work with clients and colleagues to implement a timely resolution.Good interpersonal skills with a strong focus on maintaining a good relationship with both internal and external clients.Flexible approach that will include covering other duties as and when required.Effective team member.What you will get in return: A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business.Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience.Training and development opportunities.Additional Information: We are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
