We are looking to recruit a Senior Refrigeration Technician or Engineer living in Auckland for our successful and busy Service and Maintenance Team.
You will be responsible for installing ,maintaining, repairing and servicing refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial, industrial and residential settings while ensuring proper operation of equipment to provide cooling, heating and air quality control.
Further Responsibilities of the role include:
Commissioning HVAC & Refrigeration,IoT programming ,testing systems, conduct routine maintenance ,visual checks and using diagnostic testing equipment to identify issues.
Repair or replace faulty components like compressors, motors, valves and thermostats.
Recover and evaluate refrigerants form old systems before repair as per regs.
Charge refrigeration systems with correct type and quantity of refrigerant.
Advise customers of on most cost efficient and cost effective solutions.
Ensure systems comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
About you:
You will be able to work remotely and independently.
You will have a current EST and hold a Refrigeration Handling Licence/Certifications as required by regulations.
You will need to demonstrate familiarity with refrigerants, handling procedures and related legislation and have strong trouble shooting skills to diagnose and resolve refrigeration faults.
You will need to be able to complete all job documentation and maintain records and have a current first aid certificate.
