They are a business that is focused on the well-being of their employees with notable employee benefits.With awarded project work now coming through and confidence building in the pipeline, there is now a requirement to hire another QS at Int/Senior or Senior level to be the financial lead on one or two of their projects.The role will cover:Tender estimates and review and letting contractsVariation management, progress claims, supplier paymentsSub-contractor negotiations and managementCost management and reportingAttending site visits, and being a client-facing QS representing clientsAs an applicant, you have commercial construction QS experience of 7+ years from a main contractor across a range of projects, between $5M - $30M. You have tertiary qualifications either a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a Bachelor's degree in Construction/Construction Economics. You have an ambitious streak, possess initiative, and are keen to learn and progress your career with demonstrable drive.Your cost management skills and commercial acumen are developing well with an awareness of being able to achieve results in increasing profitability on projects. Your contractual understanding of NZ3910 is well developed.
