Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager Grada Recruitment are partnered with a well established commercial main-contractor in Auckland to help secure their next Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager. Role Overview
As the Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Lead the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects simultaneously Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure project success Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and practices Manage / mentor QS team's output and performance Project Diversity You will work on a variety of construction projects, including Health, Education, Aged Care, Commercial, Universities, Industrial, Aviation, Retail, Data Centres & High Rise Residential. Projects range from $1M to $100M, with a focus on those valued between $20M and $100M, located throughout the whole of New Zealand. Why Our Client? Our client is looking for a current Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Estimating in NZ. Proven track record of strong commercial management on a range of projects in NZ. Strong communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Expertise in projects such as Data Centre, Health, Education, and Commercial sectors.
