Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager

They are now in need of a driven senior QS or commercial manager that can step into leading projects from a commercial perspective and as well as lead a team of 6-7 QS's The role encompasses both the estimating and overall cost management of projects.
Key components of this role involve: Leading estimating and quantity surveying functions Team mentoring and management Leading tender preparation Overall cost management monitoring Identifying commercial risks Reviewing, developing and implementing operating processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies As an applicant, you have: 10+ years of Estimator/QS experience either from a main contractor with some interior's projects as part of your portfolio or an interiors contractor with a strong understanding of tendering and contract administration Strong leadership and management skills You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, you can manage and guide intermediate level staff Highly analytical A sound understanding of the competitive market dynamics operating in Auckland A team player Salary $170 - $180K+
