I am currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to join a national consultancy, roll up their sleeves and build a PQS business from their Wellington office.
This would be with the support of the existing PQS team & management in other offices.The Position:To provide quantity surveying services, in accordance with the highest degree of skill and care.
To work with the QS Director to grow the quantity surveying business across Wellington.Responsibilities include:Prepare Estimates – repair and new building, residential and commercialProcurement and tender analysis including preliminary estimatesFinancial reporting, budgets, cashflow, progress paymentsBank reporting and risk managementForensic QSLegal experts, including contract disputesProvide support to other quantity surveying Leads and membersWork proactively with other technical staff in the quantity surveying team providing advice and assistance where necessaryExperience:10+ years in quantity surveyingExperience in commercial and residential quantity surveyingConsulting Quantity Surveying experience is a preferenceProject management experience is of benefitGood client facing track recordIdeally have local NZ knowledge and contactsOn offer:A family friendly work environment with flexible hoursA competitive salary and many more additional benefits are on offer for the right candidate.
