Senior Quality Inspector - Electronics

If you have a 'quality eye' and have what it takes to keep up with the best in the business, this is your program!What to expect:This is a contract Senior Quality Inspector position focused on supporting an aerospace client with inspections on electronic components. Full-time duration is estimated for 3 months. You will be part of an inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies.What you'll do:Conduct visual and dimensional inspections and paperwork verification of precision machined parts/components.Perform inspections at various client-supplier sites (as required) for in-process and final source inspection of mechanical parts.Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including GD&T, based on industry and commodity standards.What you'll need:IPC-610 certification is preferred but not required.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on inspection experience as part of a quality unit on electronic components (PCBA, Harness, PCB (bare board), Cables, etc.).Strong experience inspecting precision machined parts.Proficiency in the use of various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.Thorough understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).If you're ready for a fast-paced, exciting opportunity, apply today!Compensation: $30 - $40 an hour
