Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Cards and PaymentsLocation: New Plymouth, Auckland, and WellingtonPermanent, full-timeAbout the RoleYou'll be joining a dedicated and ambitious team, made up of Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Engineers.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll contribute to solution planning and delivery, optimization of systems quality and service.
This role provides rostered 24x7 on-call support for systems related issues within the team's responsibilities.Our Cards and Payments team are responsible for TSB's credit and debit card IT platform, with the ideal candidate having experience in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
You will be an individual that will always be learning, taking responsibility for your work, provide visibility on your daily activities, and communicate and collaborate effectively.Who are you?You will work closely with our wider Technology Services team using your awareness and experience of agile architecture frameworks, documentation and modelling.
You will be required to have a hands-on attitude, demonstrate strong leadership ability, and proven facilitation and negotiation skills.Your responsibilities will also include:Ensure security, performance and data integrity standards are upheld.Lead the definition and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria.Actively contribute to quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities.Contribute to the training and education of peers, business units, and stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you'll need:5+ years' experience as a Test Automation Engineer.5+ years' experience in the Cards and Payments industry.3+ years' automation testing within cross-functional Agile Teams.Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.Demonstrated commercial experience in API-Led web & mobile app ecosystems.Who are we?At TSB, we're small enough to really care about our customers but big enough to have great rates, innovative products, and digital solutions.
