Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Wellington Senior Quality Assurance Analyst5 weeks annual leave + flexi-leave is available15 Days wellness leave and annual wellness benefitWellington based role in a central locationA key role in our Product, Quality and Assurance team that supports New Zealand's ongoing confidence in our money by ensuring that banknotes and coins that we supply meet the needs of Aotearoa.Te turanga - The roleThe Senior Quality Assurance Analyst role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to monitor the performance of our supply chain, our banknotes and coins, and NZ's cash distribution system. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will further the development of robust quality assurance standards, frameworks and processes.In this role you will be working to ensure the quality and authenticity of cash in circulation meets requirements, new banknotes and coin designs meet the needs of New Zealanders, and all cash produced meets our specifications.Please review the position description for this role here.O pukenga - About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Tertiary qualified in relevant scientific/engineering disciplineA thorough understanding of quality assurance processes, preferably applied to a relevant manufacturing environment.Demonstrable experience in leading scientifically valid investigations and presenting data outputs to decision makersAn ability to influence and obtain support from key stakeholders to arrive at a desired outcomeExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technically specialised subject matter, especially to a non-expert audienceProven innovation and problem-solving capability in a technical or manufacturing environmentAn all round approach and proven ability to independently manage a diverse program of workHas overseen or actively contributed to a quality assurance programme in a regulated environmentKo wai matou - Who we areWe're kaitiaki (guardians) of New Zealand's financial ecosystem - enabling economic wellbeing and prosperity for all New Zealanders.
