Senior Qs / Estimator

This design and build firm based in WANAKA are seeking to appoint for the role of Estimator / Quantity Surveyor.

Your role will include:

Pre-Construction Estimating:

Prepare tender documents and assist in bid submissions.Compile SoQ's in line with standard methods of measurement.Accurate cost estimation utilising cost planning, elemental, and first principle

CostXCAT projectsBluebeam/PDF editorMicrosoft ProjectQV Costbuilder You will have / be: A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 4 years' experience with a commercial main contractor in New ZealandIntermediate to advanced in using CostX measurement and estimating functions.Experience and understanding of NZ Standards methods of measurement.Experience and understanding of NZS3910/3916 and Master Builders SA 2017.Effective communication and negotiation skills.
