Job Title: Senior QS/Commercial Manager - Density ResidentialThis is a progressive developer and density residential builder with a long-standing history in the market. They continue to be large players in the market, especially Auckland and have contracts with Kainga Ora and private developers but they also work with clients in the Design and Build market. They have an uptick in the level of pipeline and are looking to onboard a Senior QS that has managed a team and led the commercial function.Your role involves:Overseeing all estimating and pricing functionsContract administrationFinancial reporting, cost planning, cashflow forecasting and variationsProvide support to PM's in the management of projects costs and risksSupplier and subcontractor management/negotiating and procurementRelationship management from clients, design team to subs and suppliersTeam management and mentoringSite visits during constructionKey background:8 + years of residential QS experience including knowledge of NZ Building Code and NZ Building Standards, including NZ3910/ETC contracts and 3915Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in Quantity SurveyingTop communication, negotiation and relationship building skillsStrong financial nous, excellent pricing systems skillsDeadline oriented and efficiency focusedAble to effectively lead and manage and coach a QS team of 3 – 5 QS'sSalary $150K - $160K
