Testing & Quality Assurance (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeTeletrac Navman is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and automated test case development, execution, and management, with a strong focus on improving automated test coverage and reducing manual efforts. You will work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the quality and reliability of our products.WHAT YOU WILL DOPrimary responsibilities will include:Collaborate with the Principal QA Engineer to define and implement test engineering principles that maximize the value of automated test suites.Contribute to the strategic direction and technical roadmap for automation tools and testing processes.Partner with technical teams (architects, developers, QAs, and Product Owners) to diagnose issues and enhance software designs for automation.Mentor and coach junior automation QA engineers.Analyze business requirements to determine test coverage for end-to-end hardware/software regression testing.Develop and execute test cases for new features and bug fixes, adhering to agreed timelines and QA standards.Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to reduce manual testing and improve efficiency.Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Software development teams to design and maintain features suitable for automation.Manage, execute, and generate detailed reports for manual and automated test execution.Identify, log, and track bugs in JIRA/TFS, ensuring releases meet quality standards and deadlines.Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through various channels.Apply Agile methodologies to workflows.Mentor others in contributing to automated test cases within the defined automation strategy.Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Product Management, vendors, Support, and Field Engineering teams.Required Skills and Qualifications:Degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent).At least 6+ years' experience in automating software and hardware tests.At least 3+ years' experience in exclusively manual software testing.Strong programming and analytical skills.Experience with Cypress is a considerable advantage.Familiar with DB (SQL) and API testing.Familiar with bench and field-based GPS & mobile communications testing.Experience in test automation for mobile applications would be a bonus.Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and oral).Ability to work to a schedule and confidence to highlight any potential problem areas.Previous leadership position(s) is an advantage.Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket and TestRail.A history working within Scrum teams following Agile methodology.Industry certifications such as CQI/IRCA, ISTQB, CSQA etc.Personal vehicle and license for the occasional test drive are mandatory.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUYou will enjoy:12 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer and 4 weeks for the secondary carer.Development opportunities with 1:1 mentoring, online courses, product training, Lunch 'n' Learn, and so much more.Southern Cross Insurance.Flexible start and finish times and work-from-home options.Community impact.
