About the role:As a senior member of the Capital Works team, the Senior Project Manager - Capital Works, you will assist in leading the development and management of Infrastructure and Property projects within the Capital Works team. The role will be heavily focused on the "Big Picture" and encompasses the full project lifecycle.Provide leadership by motivating team members to achieve the goals and objectives of the Capital Works Team.It is essential to have a background in project and programme management methodologies, as well as expertise in stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with Iwi.Identifying development needs of Capital Works Team to foster growth, delivery and build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures and industry standards.Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, resource allocation and risk management strategies.There are 2 Senior Project Manager roles on offer:1 role concentrating on 5 waters management and road infrastructure.1 role concentrating on Council reserves, buildings and land development projects.About You:Our ideal candidate would be a respected and passionate Senior Project Manager with significant experience in commercial management, programme management, construction, and risk management. This role requires strong leadership, particularly for leading, coaching, mentoring, and supporting the project management team.
