 This is an exciting fixed term opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Third Party Insurance tima (team) and be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of a General Insurance Transformation Programme of medium-high complexity.
We sat down with our Ho Third Party Insurance Partnerships, and they let us know the following about the turanga (role). 
What is the tima culture and environment like? The core tima is a mix of project and BAU resources, along with working closely with our 3 rd  party. The tima make up and dynamic, needs to be considered in your day to day interactions, how the tima is engaged and planning.
The tima consists of experienced, and highly motivated/approachable people, who are very focused on getting the right outcomes for our customers. They hold themselves to a high standard and have a high sense of drive and commitment to delivery.
What projects / mahi (work) will the candidate be working on now and into the next year? Supporting the delivery of an insurance transformation across the Bank and our third party. This is a complex environment in a third-party context.
What is your management style? My style is very engaged, with a high attention for detail. I trust you to show initiative and take accountability for the delivery, whilst still being collaborative and encouraging refinement of ways of working. I have very open communication and assist in removing blockers when needed. 
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? This programme/project delivers benefits for our customers, colleagues and the partnership. This is supporting us to build the right foundation for our future.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? The stakeholder landscape is complex, you are working across multiple business units, technology tima and an external partner. There are several moving parts that need to be managed, and you must be a good communicator to ensure the project remains on track.
What will success look like for the candidate in this turanga? The successful candidate will need to be able to pick up and run with the plan, supporting the tima to ensure the transition results in minimal impact to the programme/project.
