We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join us, working on an interesting portfolio of work across the wider Whanganui-Manawatu region. Based in Palmerston North, our local team have strong personal and project connections in the community and a real depth of experience across regional projects including education, health, social housing, defence and government.

The Role
As senior eyes and ears on our projects, you'll be providing project leadership and direction, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients, and working closely with your team, empowering the next generation of PM talent. We're looking for someone with proven experience on projects with complex stakeholder management requirements to join us and lead some large scale, significant projects.
Here's what we need from you: Prove to us you've 'got this' as the safe pair of hands for owning project outcomes.You are a trusted advisor to your clients - they have your ear at all times.A willingness to lead by example, so the next generation of project managers learn from you.An understanding of the power of a good team culture and how to support that.A professional attitude that wins the respect of clients.Your experience needs to include: 8+ years' previous Project/construction management experience, ideally in a Consultancy.Experience in large scale build project delivery across a diverse portfolio, ideally including base build, commercial development and fitout projects.Strong leadership coordinating design and technical teams.The proven ability to challenge concepts, resolve problems and provide solutions.Detailed knowledge and the preparation of robust contract documents, correspondence and reporting. Experience with NZS3910 contracts.Strong understanding of relevant New Zealand building regulations and legislation and a strong focus on health and safety.End to end ownership, the project's not done until you're satisfied and proud of your client's feedback.You will have googled us by now:
