We strongly believe it's our job to share our real-world knowledge, leaving our clients better placed to navigate New Zealand's complex project pathways.The Opportunity:We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our young, dynamic Project Management Delivery: Infrastructure / Horizontal team in Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects, clients, and people, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction. You will also actively contribute to the leadership and development of our teams, providing clear direction and fostering a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage project teams, ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.Actively engage with clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and maintaining strong relationships.Prepare and present technical papers at industry events, showcasing Frequency's expertise.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety obligations and company policies.Develop and implement project management plans aligned with clients' requirements.Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.Contribute to business development efforts, including client meetings, preparing proposals and tenders.About You:10 to 15 years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record in managing infrastructure projects valued at $40 million-plus.Holds relevant tertiary industry qualifications.Demonstrated experience in roles such as design management, team management, or team director, with a focus on infrastructure projects.Experience in water, road or rail projects is desirable.Client track record / network with NZTA, Wellington Water, Kiwirail or local councils is also desired.Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on effective communication and emotional intelligence (EQ).Strong industry presence and a robust professional network, particularly in the Wellington region.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing project financials and performance.At Frequency, we believe in empowering our people to make meaningful change.
